| PDF® Version Editing Problems The Digital Office 5.0 desktop shortcut icon is programmed
to open the software using the free Adobe Reader viewer software. To use the powerful full PDF 4.0 or 5.0 software upgrade, you must create a new shortcut that will open the software using PDF instead of Reader.
CREATING A NEW SHORTCUT Option A: 1) Right Mouse Click on your Computers Start Button, and Select> Explore. 2) Find and Open the Programs Folder. Find and Open the ProForce Folder. 3) Open the ProForce Folder, and Find a File named: CD-ROM_Contracts.pdf 4) Right Click on the CD-ROM_Contracts.pdf File and Select "Create Shortcut". 5) Copy the New Shortcut. 6) Close, or Minimize all Open Windows, until your Desktop Screen is Viewable. 7) Right Click on Your Desktop Screen, and Select, "Paste". 8) Done! A New Shortcut is Now on your Desktop. 9) Delete the old Digital Office Shortcut your Desktop. 10) Right Click on the New Shortcut, and Select: "Properties". 11) Select: "Change Icon", and Choose a Colorful Icon from the Menu, Click Apply. 12) Test the New Shortcut, by Clicking on it. You Should see the Adobe 4.0-5.0 Editing Toolbar on the Left Side of the screen.
Option B: 1) Right Mouse Click on the Computers Start Button, and Select> Search. 2) Next Exactly Type: CD-ROM_Contracts.pdf in the "Search for Files and Folders Named" Text Entry Box. 3) Select: "Local Hard Drive (C:), in the "Look In" Drop down Menu, and Start Search. 4) After Search Results finds the File, Right Click on this CD-ROM_Contracts.pdf File, and Select "Create Shortcut". 5) Right Click on the New Shortcut, you just Created, and Select "Copy". 6) Close, or Minimize all Open Windows, until your Desktop Screen is Viewable. 7) Right Click on Your Desktop Screen, and Select, "Paste". 8) Done! A New Shortcut is Now on your Desktop. 9) Delete the old Digital Office Shortcut your Desktop. 10) Right Click on the New Shortcut, and Select: "Properties". 11) Select: "Change Icon", and Choose a Colorful Icon from the Menu, Click Apply. 12) Test the New Shortcut, by Clicking on it.
